This diploma thesis is focused on Security Awareness Education at the Faculty of Business and Management. It consists of three main parts: theoretical, analytical and practical considerations. The theoretical part is the introduction to basic terms, processes and analysis to help understand the thesis. The analytical part includes an introduction to the chosen organization and the implementation of analysis, which were presented in the theoretical part. The practical part contains, among other things, the actual proposals for Security Awareness Education at the faculty and its benefits.

Design Methodology of Security Awareness at the Secondary School

The diploma thesis addresses the topic of security awareness education at secondary schools. The goal is to develop a standardized methodology for building security awareness, which can be used by secondary schools to ensure the protection of their perimeter, their users and others from the user’s actions. The introductory part deals with the basic terminology, existing and forthcoming Czech and international legal acts, norms, regulations and certification in the area of information and cyber security. The practical part includes the methodology chapters describing the building of security awareness at secondary schools.

Basics of security awareness for pupils at primary school

This diploma thesis looks at building educational modules that will serve to build a basic awareness of safety for children in primary schools. The Implementation of ISMS in a Small Company

The diploma thesis focuses on proposing an information security management system (ISMS) in a small company. This publication includes theoretical facts, which are needed to understand and design a ISMS. The design proposal of the ISMS itself is based on an analysis of the current status of the company's information security. The proposed security measures are based on the actual state of information security within the company, and on recommendations stemming from the ISO/IEC 27000 standard.

The introductory part of the thesis introduces basic concepts and theoretical basis of ISMS issues and the SAE program. The next part is analyzing the current state of the school system and introduced requirements for the introduction of the program. The third and main part of the thesis is devoted to the proposal of its own solution for building and introducing the SAE program. The outcome of this work is a security policy, SAE program and training materials.

Proposal for the implementation of security awareness program at grammar school

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of building security awareness at grammar schools. The thesis can be divided into three main parts. The introductory part introduces the theoretical definition of basic concepts in the area of information security and a brief description of the legislative requirements to be followed in solving the work. The second part analyzes the current situation of selected grammar school, including risk analysis, HOS 8 analysis and SWOT analysis. In the practical part, the proposal to introduce a security awareness program adapted to the grammar school.

Simulating information security management within a university environment

This diploma thesis is concerned with simulating information security management within a university environment. It is divided into three parts. The theoretical part focuses on describing the assets which could be part of a faculty network, attacks that could target it, security processes which could protect it and users that are active within it. The analytical part then applies these segments on a real faculty network. Based on this analysis, a set of specific assets, attacks, security processes and other tasks is created in order to simulate a simplified version of the analyzed network using a sophisticated cybernetic polygon. The security of the network is then assessed after several iterations of the simulations. Its parameters are adjusted in the effort to increase its security and the module is tested on an academic employee in order to assess its effectiveness. The conclusion evaluates the possibilities of increasing the security of the simulated network as well as the usability of the cybernetic polygon in practice.

The design of the cybersecurity training methodology for middle and top management

The diploma thesis addresses the issue of developing the methodology for cybersecurity training of middle and top management. The goal is to propose a methodology for the needs of energy company, wich will be focused on education of the target group of employees that represents a high-risk. The introductory part is focused on theroretical basis such as basic terminology, current legislation and security awareness education. The analysis is focused on the current state of the cyber and infromation security education program in the energy company. The actual solution contains the proposal of the methodology itself and its specific solution with regard to the current state and needs of the organization.
